Tim has been on holiday the last 2 weeks and I've been very busy with other work so the site has been neglected somewhat.

11th September 2008 - Crazy Football

I'm putting todays selection up a bit close to the off but hopefully some of you will get it. Strong bet for an outsider at 1.30pm Doncaster - Secrecy at odds of about 12/1 or 14.0 on the exchanges.

Yesterdays football was crazy. Portugal in control up until the last ten minutes letting in 3 goals losing us £250 in the process.

Chilly Filly definitely did out-run the rest of the field however the second favourite out run her by 2.5 lengths.

9th September 2008 - Too Much Rain

Well like much of the racing recently, the Irish bet a few days ago was also lost to bad weather and a waterlogged pitch. Ho hum.

Today we have a single bet at the 2.30 Beverley - Chilly Filly. She should easily out-run the rest of the field however her odds reflect this at 1.42.

Man Utd didn't help our cause over the weekend drawing to Newcastle at Old Trafford. Good result for Keegan but not so much for our profit!

16th August 2008 - New Football Season

I am taking Man Utd today at home to Newcastle to win. I can't see them losing even without Ronaldo, especially playing at Old Trafford. With Chelsea looking a bigger threat this year than last, the Red Devils need to get off to a better start than they did last year. Currently trading at about 1.34.

Last weeks two place bets on for us. In fact they both won their races too. That made us £63 more profit.

Kyber never looked like winning yesterday so our first loss on the blog!

I am quite tempted to go for Holland at 1.79 in Euro 2008 tonight, though I should know better at the knockout stages so I will leave it. After Croatia vs Turkey yesterday we can see anything can happen.

That just leaves a single bet for today - Ferrer vs Gicquel in the Ordina Open tennis final. Ferrer to win at 1.35.

12th June 2008 - First Winner!

Well the first bet got off to a good start! Portugal's score line may have flattered them a little but the result is what matters!

I was considering Germany today against Croatia but I have decided to leave it as the Croats have more to offer than they showed in their first game and I'm sure they will come out fighting against Germany who had an easy ride against Poland in their opener.

11th June 2008 - Czech Republic v's Portugal

Ok my first tip for the blog and one that should prove a winner is the Euro 2008 bet tonight. Many are saying that the Czech's will make it hard for Portugal and I agree. However I am convinced that Ronaldo and co will overcome the Czechs on the night and prove their attacking style for the win, even with Petr Czech in goal.

Hi and welcome to the OBSR blog.
