Football Trading
System Review
[Ian Erskine]

Ian Erskine claims his riches from
football betting stem from his not uncommon football trading
concept. Is it easy to get in on the action and profit from it?
The
Football Trading System [FTS from
here] is simply a common and popular trading system for the football
[soccer] leagues that many, including me, have probably discovered
themselves prior to purchasing this ebook.
Though I have no
doubt that Ian, the author of
FTS, did in fact work out for
himself the techniques inside his manual, many others have also
discovered the same idea themselves and is quite an obvious football
trade.
Obvious or not, is
it profitable? Well, yes and no!
I appreciate
the above answer is not particularly helpful but neither is the
system itself. I believe there is quite an element of luck involved
on which teams you decide to trade on. Ian’s manual states to only
trade on games where the odds for the draw are 4.20 or lower though
if you are more adventurous you can of course have no limit.
Obviously the instructions of what to do with the trades are
included and well explained in the
FTS ebook.
Every user of
this system could and most likely does have very different results.
Some in profit, some at a loss. It is very hit and miss and during
my 6 months testing of the system ended up with a small 15 point
profit. I imagine that people’s perception of the system therefore
varies greatly. Obviously those that were ‘lucky’ enough to profit
like the system and those that didn’t are convinced that long term
profits from it are impossible. Any system that has such a contrast
in results between users is not a good thing in my book. Systems are
supposed to help minimise the risk involved in betting and this
really doesn’t seem to do that from my experience.
For those of
you not familiar with the trading concept, it is basically buying
something at one price and selling at a higher price to ensure a
profit no matter what the outcome. In the case of a game of football
with
FTS, you buy the odds of a draw
[lay bet] and after an event in the game sell the odds at a higher
price [back bet] to ‘green up’ and ensure a profit whether the home
or away team wins or if it is a draw. It is a very easy process.
I don’t
particularly doubt Ian’s claims of massive profits as a little
research into games before placing bets can help to maximise winning
trades and Ian even sends out the picks he apparently trades on
himself for free by email which is a bonus.
Overall I find
FTS hard to recommend simply as
it’s an idea many are familiar with anyway. Ian certainly wasn’t the
first to think of it. On the other hand I would find it difficult to
disregard altogether also. The logic is sound and it is easy to use
if you can sit by your PC during a football match.
The fact that I
didn’t make a loss is positive but I wonder how long it would take
to make a profit of any worth. 15 points profit over 6 months is
certainly nothing spectacular! However in the
FTS systems defence I can see the
potential for better results and may consider mine to be ‘unlucky’.
For this reason I am going to continue testing this for another 6
months and see where that leads, ,maybe my luck will change. I will
update this then to let you know!
All in all I
would rate this as a neutral system. If you like football betting
you may want to have a look, if not then your money could be spend
better elsewhere on more profitable ventures such as
Frontline
or
Saver System.
