Daily Donkey Free Laying Tips Review

laying service

A free laying tips service with claims of £20,000 per month profits! Yes please!

At first glance on the Daily Donkey results pages you are highly likely to be very impressed with the results and probably more than a little sceptical. The site design looks good and is well presented and I was eager to find out more.

They quite happily claim £20,000 profit a month using their free tips which are provided on their website daily and you have the choice to limit the odds yourself or just take every selection, odds up to 60.0!

You will also soon notice that on many races there is more than one selection. You can easily be laying the first and second favourite or in some cases I noticed four out of the five runners!

Not one to pass a profitable opportunity by I started to paper trade their selections with two variables. Firstly all selections up to odds of 6.0 and secondly, all selections no matter what the odds were. After all I had nothing to lose as it wasn’t costing me anything other than time, but this fact alone made me a little suspicious. Why not charge fro information so good that it makes £20,000 per month? Even if it is ‘proofed’ to the racing index? Hmm…

After about a day with the selections you soon start to notice the shortcomings and the information that is hidden from you. This has a major impact in the advertised profit.

First off is that all their selections are quoted at normal SP odds. Therefore the odds advertised on their site are well below what you are able to lay at Betfair in reality. Generally Betfair prices are 15% - 20% higher than SP. In addition Daily Donkey don’t include Betfair commission, which is typically around 5%. So already we are running at 20% - 25% down on their profits.

With this in mind you are much more likely to lose £20,000 per month than gain it. Seriously! I find it extremely bad for the owners to advertise such false claims.

After noticing the discrepancies above and making a paper traded loss, I stopped using their selections after just one day. I know that you have to test systems out over a long period to judge their profitability however I know for a fact without even testing this fully that it is a waste of time.

If you want proof yourself head on over to http://www.racing-index.com/tipsters/tipster-performance.php and select the Daily Donkey tipsters from the drop down menu. If you press submit without adding filters then you will be shown their glowing results in all their glory. However add into the ‘commission’ box 5% for your Betfair commission and add 15% - 20% into the ‘odds percentage > SP’ box which represents the inflated Betfair odds and you will see my point is proven above.

The reality is the Daily Donkey lays do not profit unless you can magically get their stated odds and no Betfair commission, which you can’t [If you can please let me know how!]. Avoid like the plague.
