The Life System

A Dutching
system designed for UK races where the favourites are left out! Is that a worthy betting
venture?
When I first saw
The Life System, I must say that I
was intrigued to find out how it performed having seen the
qualifying criteria for the three selections to dutch. It was
different to any other dutching method I had seen before.
The past results certainly looked great (don’t they
always?!), so I quickly got to work!
The criteria to pick selections is as simple as anything I
have seen before. It is as a straight forward and quick. There is no
form reading involved, only a quick look at the racing post race
cards. I can’t go into too much detail without giving anything away
but finding the days selections should only take between ten and
fifteen minutes.
I started the test on
9th
October 2008 and have included the profit and loss figures below.
There have been a few losing days but you expect that from any
racing system and the winning days have outweighed the losing. The
average odds of selections is around 9/1 so when a winner does come
in you receive a good return though of course as it is a dutching
method with three selections per race two points are taken from the
two losing selections in a winning race. Other winners are as low as
7/2 and as high as 25/1. The fact that there is no progressive
staking plan and loss recovery also bodes well.
To date the system has performed as advertised even though
the test period as I write has been short it gives a good indication
of what to expect. I will keep running the system and update this
page after a longer period of scrutiny! Maybe in a month or so.
If you like systems with high strike rates; I imagine
The Life System could have days with long losing runs. However things turn
around quickly with the high odds of winners and the losing runs so
far have not been long at all to date.
Level staking is recommended as is stop-at-a-winner (SAW).
Due to those two author recommendations that is how I have operated
the test, however I do wonder if the system would be more profitable
using all the potential selections. Definitely something to look
into and something I will look into in the future with
The Life System as my immediate feelings about the system think it can be a
useful system to include in your betting portfolio. As it stands
and operating at a SAW the days betting is usually over within
twenty minutes as winners often come in the first race. Other times
you may require five races to find the profit and occasionally use
the whole race card.
So far I have profited and enjoyed using
The Life System, so can’t really ask for more. I have always enjoyed
dutching in general so this is right up my street too.
My recommendation for
The Life System would be to give it a go. The results speak for themselves
and the fact it is quick and easy to use is a definite bonus. A bot
could easily be configured to operate the system for you and for a
limited number of 100 places the author has a membership for their
own bot. At time of writing there are places available for this
though they will probably go quite quickly as they usually do!
The Life System is a breath of fresh air with all of the laying systems
flooding the market and that reason alone is worth a punt
